Maryam Aurangzeb Counters Bilawal’s Punjab Criticism With Video Evidence

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Punjab Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb shared videos of roads, streets, and sanitation work after PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari questioned development in several Punjab districts during an AJK election rally.

Punjab Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has responded to criticism from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari by releasing videos that she says demonstrate ongoing development and municipal services across several districts of Punjab.

The response came after Bilawal, while addressing an election rally in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), questioned the state of infrastructure and public services outside Lahore. He asked whether residents of other Punjab cities were receiving the same level of development and civic attention as the provincial capital.

Shortly after the speech, Maryam Aurangzeb posted a series of videos on social media featuring the same districts mentioned by Bilawal. The footage showed paved roads, residential streets, and sanitation operations carried out by local authorities.

She placed particular emphasis on Vehari and Kasur, sharing separate videos from both districts. According to Maryam Aurangzeb, the recordings provide visual evidence of improvements in road infrastructure, street maintenance, and cleanliness initiatives undertaken by the Punjab government.

The senior minister said the videos reflected the provincial administration’s efforts to improve civic facilities across Punjab, arguing that development projects are not limited to Lahore but are also being implemented in smaller cities and districts.

Bilawal’s remarks were made in the context of the ongoing AJK election campaign, where political parties have intensified criticism of one another’s governance records. Maryam Aurangzeb’s response adds to the exchange between the PML-N-led Punjab government and the PPP over public service delivery and development.
