Noman Ali Creates History: Pakistan Spinner Leaves Saqlain Mushtaq and Danish Kaneria Behind

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Pakistan cricket team spinner Noman Ali has added another remarkable achievement to his career after completing 100 wickets in Test cricket during the first Test match against Bangladesh.

The left-arm spinner reached the landmark after taking three wickets in Bangladesh’s second innings, becoming one of the fastest Pakistani spinners to achieve the feat. Noman completed his 100 Test wickets in just 22 matches, placing him third on Pakistan’s all-time list for fastest spinners to reach the milestone.

The achievement has further strengthened Noman Ali’s reputation as one of Pakistan’s most dependable red-ball bowlers. His consistent performances in recent Test series have played a key role in Pakistan’s bowling attack, especially on spin-friendly pitches.

Pakistan’s former leg-spinner Yasir Shah still holds the national record for the fastest 100 Test wickets among spinners, achieving the milestone in only 17 matches. Former off-spinner Saeed Ajmal occupies second place after completing 100 wickets in 19 Tests.

With this latest feat, Noman Ali has now surpassed legendary Pakistan spinners Saqlain Mushtaq and Danish Kaneria, both of whom reached 100 Test wickets in 23 matches.

Adding another layer to his achievement, Noman Ali has also become one of the oldest bowlers to reach 100 Test wickets in Test cricket, making the milestone even more special for the experienced spinner.

Cricket analysts believe Noman’s success reflects Pakistan’s continued strength in spin bowling, a department that has historically produced world-class talent. His latest record is being widely celebrated by cricket fans and former players alike, especially as Pakistan continues its campaign against Bangladesh.

An important milestone for Noman Ali!
