Rawalpindi Railway Station Lights Up in Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Colors

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Railway Station has taken on a striking festive appearance ahead of Pakistan’s Independence Day, with the historic landmark illuminated in colors associated with Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia.

The station building has been decorated with red and green lighting and the national flags of the three countries, creating a prominent display as preparations for Aug. 14 celebrations gather pace across the city.

The illumination comes amid growing diplomatic and strategic engagement among Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia, with the display highlighting the close relations between the three countries following the signing of the Mecca defense agreement.

Under the decorative arrangement, red lighting represents Türkiye, while green reflects the national colors of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The same red and green lighting scheme has also been installed at the Railway Headquarters Police Station in Rawalpindi.

The colorful decorations have added a festive touch to one of the city’s best-known landmarks while carrying a broader message of friendship and cooperation among the three countries.

As Pakistan prepares to celebrate its Independence Day on Aug. 14, public buildings and prominent locations are being decorated to create a celebratory atmosphere. The illumination of Rawalpindi Railway Station has provided a particularly visible display for commuters and residents passing through the historic transport hub.
