Heavy bombardment was reported near the Embassy of Pakistan in Tehran in Tehran, raising concerns amid ongoing regional tensions. According to diplomatic sources the strikes occurred around 8 PM in areas close to both the embassy and the residence of Pakistan’s ambassador.
The embassy is located near an Iranian military facility known as Artesh while Ambassador Mudassir Tipu resides in a district associated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Despite the intensity of the bombardment, no damage was reported to the Pakistani diplomatic mission or the ambassador’s residence.
Sources confirmed that Ambassador Tipu continues to perform his duties in Tehran alongside approximately 20 diplomatic staff members. A senior diplomat stated that loud explosions were clearly heard, causing concern among the staff but all personnel remain safe.
The incident highlights the volatile security environment in the region, where diplomatic missions continue to operate under heightened risk. Despite the challenging conditions, Pakistani officials in Tehran remain committed to their responsibilities, working in a tense and uncertain atmosphere.
