PCB Drops Big Update for Pakistan-Australia Series as Cricket Fever Grips Fans

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced ticket details for the upcoming ODI series between the Pakistan national cricket team and the Australia national cricket team, with sales set to begin on May 22.

According to the PCB, online tickets will be available from 1pm through the board’s official ticket portal, while physical tickets can be purchased from 16 TCS Express Centres located across Lahore, Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

The cricket board said ticket prices have been deliberately kept affordable to ensure maximum fan attendance during the high-profile three-match ODI series.

General enclosure tickets will start from Rs200, while first-class enclosure tickets will cost Rs300. Premium enclosure tickets have been priced at Rs400, whereas VIP tickets will be available for Rs500.

For the Rawalpindi fixture, special VIP gallery tickets will be sold for Rs1,500. VIP enclosures at the Iqbal End are priced at Rs1,000, while seats at the Jinnah End will also cost Rs1,500.

The PCB added that details regarding corporate hospitality packages for the series will be announced separately through its head office in the coming days.

The ODI series will begin on May 30 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The second and third matches are scheduled for June 2 and June 4 at Gaddafi Stadium.

The series carries added significance as it marks Australia’s first bilateral ODI tour of Pakistan since 2022. It also comes after Australia’s T20I tour earlier this year, where Pakistan completed a dominant 3-0 whitewash against the visitors.

Cricket analysts believe the affordable ticket pricing and growing excitement around Pakistan’s recent performances could lead to packed stadiums throughout the series, especially with fans eager to witness another major international contest on home soil.
