Newly elected lawmakers inaugurated the six-kilometer Torsilai Zeri Noor road project, aiming to improve connectivity, reduce travel time, and promote economic development in South Waziristan Lower.
WANA: Construction of the six-kilometer Torsilai Zeri Noor road project was officially launched in South Waziristan Lower on the special directives of newly elected public representatives, Member of the National Assembly Zubair Wazir and Member of the Provincial Assembly Ajab Gul Wazir.
The inauguration ceremony was jointly led by Chief of Ahmadzai Malik Moinuddin Wazir, Malik Saeedullah Wazir, and Malik Gul Wazir, who cut the ribbon to mark the start of the project. Senior leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, local elders, party workers, and residents attended the event. Among those present were Abid Wazir, Murad Ali Wazir, Engineer Luqman Wazir, and other political leaders.
Addressing the gathering, speakers described the project as a significant step toward fulfilling commitments made to the people. They said the new road would improve transportation for thousands of residents by reducing travel time and transportation costs while providing easier access for students, patients, traders, and commuters.
They added that the project is expected to strengthen local trade, support agricultural activities, and contribute to the region’s economic development. The speakers emphasized that eliminating underdevelopment, improving infrastructure, and expanding access to essential public services remain among the priorities of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
