More than one million successful registrations have been completed under the Prime Minister’s Fuel Relief Scheme, while more than 800,000 fuel relief tokens have been generated across Pakistan, according to the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication.
The ministry said the scheme is aimed at providing fuel relief to eligible and deserving people across the country.
A 24-hour control room has also been established to monitor the implementation of the scheme in real time across Pakistan. The monitoring mechanism is intended to track the progress of registrations and token generation as the relief programme continues.
According to the ministry, more than 800,000 successful fuel relief tokens have been generated so far. Punjab and Islamabad are currently leading in terms of token redemption.
The registration and token-generation figures indicate continued participation in the government’s fuel relief initiative, with eligible citizens able to access information and guidance through the scheme’s official website.
