Former DG ISI’s Brother Najaf Hamid Loses Bail

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Islamabad:(Syed Yaseen Hashmi)- The Islamabad Special Judge Central of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Shah Rukh Arjumand, has revoked the bail of Najaf Hamid, brother of former DG ISI, Faiz Hamid, in a fraud case.

The court approved the FIA’s request for bail cancellation, effectively terminating Najaf Hamid’s temporary release. However, Najaf Hamid was not present in court during the proceedings, and as a result, he was not taken into custody immediately.

Earlier, Najaf Hamid’s bail had been granted on the basis of reconciliation, allowing him temporary relief while the legal process continued. Following that, the FIA filed a petition seeking the cancellation of his bail, citing serious concerns regarding the ongoing investigation and potential misuse of bail privileges.

The court’s decision underscores the FIA’s ongoing efforts to pursue accountability in financial and fraud-related cases. Authorities are expected to act promptly to locate Najaf Hamid and ensure his presence for further legal proceedings.

This development marks a significant step in the high-profile case and signals the judiciary’s commitment to addressing allegations of fraud and ensuring that due process is upheld in all related matters.
