Popular YouTuber Saadur Rehman, known as Ducky Bhai, to resume content uploads under court-imposed restrictions
LAHORE: A judicial magistrate on Monday ordered the restoration of the bank accounts of popular YouTuber Saadur Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, in a case linked to the promotion of gambling applications on social media.
Rehman appeared in court alongside his wife, Aroob Jatoi, and legal counsel. Magistrate Naeem Wattoo approved the reactivation of Rehman’s previously frozen accounts and permitted him to post content on his YouTube channel under specific restrictions, cautioning him to avoid commenting on any aspects of the ongoing case.
The court noted that the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) had flagged 27 videos on Rehman’s channel but instructed that they need not be removed at this stage. A technical witness from the NCCIA testified during the hearing, although the agency’s prosecutor was absent. Proceedings were adjourned until March 11.
Rehman was initially arrested in August 2025 and released on bail by the Lahore High Court on November 24, 2025. Following his release, he accused NCCIA officials of mistreatment during custody. The YouTuber has reflected publicly on the transformative nature of his three-month imprisonment, describing it as a period that strengthened his faith, mindfulness, and approach to content creation.
With over nine million subscribers, Rehman is Pakistan’s most-followed digital creator. He emphasized the lessons learned during his detention and urged fellow creators to exercise caution online, noting that a single misstep can drastically affect both career and life.
