Recep Tayyip Erdogan has strongly condemned Israel’s actions, stating that the suffering in Iran is no different from the pain experienced by Muslims across the world. Speaking at a meeting of the ruling Justice and Development Party in Ankara, Erdogan described the Israeli government as a network of genocide driven by hatred and warned that it is pushing the region toward one of the worst crises of the century.
He questioned the difference between the tears shed in cities like Isfahan Tabriz and Tehran and those in Baghdad, Beirut, and Sanaa, emphasizing that all Muslims are equally affected by ongoing violence regardless of sect or ethnicity.
Erdogan said the attacks involving Israel and the United States have plunged the region into severe turmoil, impacting all communities. He reaffirmed that Turkiye stands with its brotherly nations and will not remain silent in difficult times.
He also criticized restrictions on worship at Al Aqsa Mosque, calling it an affront to the faith of billions of Muslims and stressing that the right to worship cannot be denied.
