Imran Khan Speaks with Sons Following Supreme Court Orders

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Imran Khan currently imprisoned was permitted to speak by telephone with his sons Kasim and Sulaiman, following directives issued by the Supreme Court of Pakistan sources said.

According to officials the conversation took place at Adiala Jail where Khan has been incarcerated since 2023. Jail authorities confirmed that the call lasted more than 30 minutes. A federal minister also acknowledged the development but declined to provide further details regarding the discussion.

The phone call comes amid intensified political debate surrounding Khan’s health. Lawmakers from the opposition Tehreek Tahaffuz Ayeen e Pakistan alliance continued their sit in for a second consecutive day outside Parliament House voicing concerns over his reported medical condition.

Opposition leaders have demanded greater transparency particularly following claims that Khan’s eyesight has deteriorated. Reports suggesting that vision in one eye had been reduced significantly prompted calls for an independent medical examination.

Government officials have rejected allegations of mistreatment maintaining that all court orders related to medical access and family communication are being implemented.

Khan founder of the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf remains central to ongoing political tensions between the government and opposition.
