Imran Khan’s Private Hospital Admission Cancelled Amid Doctor Dispute

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

ISLAMABAD: Plans to admit former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) founder to a private hospital for medical treatment were cancelled at the last moment due to disagreements over the choice of doctors party sources said.

PTI had requested that Khan be admitted to for at least ten days. The government agreed on hospitalisation only under conditions that treatment details remain confidential and no party workers be allowed at the facility. By Friday night, arrangements for vehicles and admission were reportedly completed.

The family proposed Dr Asim and Dr Azmi but both were rejected by the government. A later suggestion of Dr Burki was also turned down. Officials then proposed Dr Qasim Zaman but concerns from both the family and Dr Zaman prevented an agreement.

On Sunday night, authorities announced that hospitalisation in the private facility was no longer possible. PTI leadership met with doctors at and pledged confidentiality.

Sources said tensions escalated within PTI with some leaders considering a press conference at Bani Gala to challenge internal decisions. The episode underscores ongoing friction between PTI and the federal government regarding Khan’s health amid a politically sensitive climate.
