Massive Blaze Erupts in H-9 Market: Authorities Reveal Major Breakthrough as Firefighters Battle Remaining Hotspots

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

District administration says 75% of the fire at Islamabad’s H-9 Market has been brought under control, while investigations continue into the cause of the incident.

A major fire that erupted in Islamabad’s H-9 Market triggered a large-scale emergency response, with authorities confirming that most of the blaze has now been contained.

According to the district administration, the fire affected nine sections of the market. Firefighters have successfully controlled the flames in six sections, while efforts remain underway to extinguish the fire in the remaining three areas. Officials reported that approximately 75% of the fire has been brought under control.

Authorities said the concerned Assistant Commissioner rushed to the scene immediately after receiving reports of the fire. Multiple emergency agencies responded, including rescue teams from Rescue 1122 Rawalpindi, which joined local responders in ongoing firefighting and relief operations.

The district administration stated that an investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the fire. Officials are assessing the affected areas while working to prevent further damage.

In a related development, authorities highlighted their ongoing crackdown on the use of LPG cylinders in marketplaces. Daily enforcement operations are being conducted, and nine shopkeepers were reportedly arrested a day earlier for violating regulations related to LPG cylinder use.
