Medical findings in the murder case of seven-year-old Muntaha Zahra have revealed evidence of sexual assault and severe physical violence, while investigators continue to pursue forensic confirmation through DNA testing.
A post-mortem report in the murder case of seven-year-old Muntaha Zahra has revealed disturbing details about the circumstances surrounding her death in Sargodha, intensifying public concern and calls for justice.
According to the medical examination report obtained by local media, evidence of sexual assault was found during the post-mortem. The report stated that the child died after her carotid artery was severed, causing fatal blood loss. Medical experts also documented multiple injuries across her body, indicating signs of severe physical violence.
The report disclosed that seven injury marks were found on different parts of the victim’s body, including her face. It further revealed fractures to facial and forehead bones, while wounds were also present on the right side of her head.
Police sources said DNA samples collected from the arrested suspects have been sent to a forensic laboratory in Lahore for analysis. Authorities are awaiting the laboratory findings, which are expected to play a significant role in strengthening the prosecution’s case.
Sources within law enforcement also stated that Arsalan, identified as the principal suspect in the case, was killed during an alleged encounter with the Crime Control Department (CCD). Officials have not yet released detailed information regarding the circumstances of the incident.
