Former US President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran’s leadership structure has effectively changed and suggested that a new leadership may be open to reaching a nuclear agreement. Speaking to the media, Trump said that Iran is now engaging with the “right people” who are willing to negotiate and move toward a deal.
He stated that Iran has indicated it will not pursue nuclear weapons and is approaching discussions more cautiously. Trump further claimed that significant military and strategic gains have been made, including damage to Iran’s naval and air capabilities. He described the situation as a “regime change” and suggested that Iran’s previous leadership is no longer in control.
According to Trump, the emerging leadership in Iran appears more open to dialogue and potential agreements. He also mentioned that Iran has sent what he described as a “gift,” referring to developments related to oil and gas discussions.
Trump praised the roles of Saudi Arabia United Arab Emirates and Qatar for their positive involvement in handling regional tensions and supporting diplomatic efforts.
