Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government expands its cabinet with new ministers, advisers, and special assistants during an oath-taking ceremony at the Governor House.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has officially expanded its provincial cabinet, adding several new ministers, advisers, and special assistants in a major political development that could reshape the province’s administrative landscape.
The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Governor House, where the newly appointed members formally assumed their offices in the presence of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, senior ministers, and political leaders.
According to the announcement, six new provincial ministers were inducted into the cabinet, including Nazir Ahmad Abbasi, Shakeel Ahmad, Muhammad Adnan Qadri, Muhammad Arif Ahmadzai, Tariq Mahmood Aryani, and Shafiullah Jan, who previously served as Assistant on Information.
The provincial government also appointed four new advisers: Pir Musawir Khan, Liaqat Ali Khan, Humayun Khan, and Mian Muhammad Umar.
In addition, eight special assistants were named, including Tariq Saeed, Muhammad Usman, Tufail Anjum, Iftikhar Ullah Jan, Sami Ullah Khan, Malik Adeel Iqbal, Muhammad Khurshid, and Muhammad Israr.
Political analysts believe the cabinet expansion is aimed at strengthening governance, balancing regional representation, and preparing the ruling administration for upcoming political and administrative challenges in the province.
