District Police Officer Muhammad Tahir Shah Wazir reviewed security arrangements in Kari Kot, met local tribal leadership, and reinforced coordination with security forces to enhance peace and stability in Lower South Waziristan.
WANA: District Police Officer (DPO) Lower South Waziristan, Muhammad Tahir Shah Wazir (PSP), carried out a comprehensive security review during a visit to Kari Kot on Sunday, underscoring ongoing efforts to strengthen law and order in the district.
During the visit, the DPO met Ahmadzai tribal chief Malik Jameel Toji Khel at his residence, inquired about his well-being, and discussed the prevailing security situation and law and order challenges in the area.
He inspected the security deployment, alertness, and protective measures of police personnel assigned to Malik Jameel’s residence. The DPO directed officers to perform their duties with maximum vigilance, professionalism, and dedication to ensure effective protection against any potential threats.
Later, Muhammad Tahir Shah Wazir visited the 88 LTAD post near Dars Mosque, where he held a meeting with Colonel Muaz. The two officials discussed mutual coordination, regional security, and the overall law and order environment. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing inter-agency cooperation and continuing joint efforts to preserve peace and stability across Lower South Waziristan.
The DPO also reviewed defensive preparedness, security arrangements, and protective measures at the post, praising the professionalism and commitment demonstrated by officers and security personnel.
SHO City Police Station Usman Khan Wazir and DSB Incharge Zabihullah Khan Wazir accompanied the District Police Officer throughout the visit.
