Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expresses grief over the death of PML-N leader and MPA Hanif Jutt

PM Shehbaz Sharif expressed condolences to the family of PML-N leader and MPA Hanif Jutt and prayed for the departed soul.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Hanif Jutt.

In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, Shehbaz Sharif extended his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for them to be granted patience and strength to bear the loss.

The prime minister also prayed for the elevation of the deceased’s ranks and asked Allah Almighty to grant Hanif Jutt a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous.

Shehbaz Sharif said Hanif Jutt’s services to the PML-N would always be remembered.

“May Allah Almighty grant the deceased a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous,” the prime minister said, according to the statement.

The Prime Minister’s Office issued the statement in Islamabad on Sept. 17, 2026.
