Sindh Govt Denies Fake Notification on School Holidays Extension

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The Government of Sindh has dismissed a viral notification circulating on social media that claimed an extension of school holidays until April 15. Syed Sardar Shah clarified that the document is completely fake and has no official backing.

According to the false notification, educational institutions across the province were to remain closed due to a smart lockdown and fuel shortages while examinations would continue as scheduled. However, the minister rejected these claims calling them misleading and fabricated.

In his statement Syed Sardar Shah urged parents students and the general public not to rely on unverified information shared online. He emphasized the importance of trusting only authentic updates issued through official government channels.

The minister further confirmed that all educational institutions in Sindh will continue to operate as usual, and no decision has been made to extend holidays. Authorities have expressed concern over the spread of misinformation on social media, warning that such fake notices can create unnecessary confusion and disrupt academic activities.

Officials reiterated their commitment to transparency and advised citizens to verify news before sharing it.
